This week in Canterbury I’ve made a great great friend named Sharna-Lee. On Thursday morning when we arrived at Canterbury I found out that she had been injured. Another kid threw a stone at her and it hit her head causing it to gush with blood. When I found out what happened I panicked. There was a long trail of dry blood on the concrete path where she got hit.  Sharna-Lee was apparently at home now.

My team took some time to pray for her. After we took a moment to pray we went to visit a man who was blind and lost his legs named Lesley. All the little kids followed us up to him and were being very rude and disrespectful by talking and yelling so I was instructed to take the kids away from him. When I was heading down the road from Lesley’s house I saw Sharna-Lee standing there with a humongous grin on her face. When I saw her I felt relief and peace that she was ok.
