What are the first words you think of when you hear the word “Jamaica?” You may be thinking a relaxing vacation or a beautiful island, but the first words I think of, or more of what comes to my mind is the amazing people here. The kids, adults, and elderly were such a blessing to me. It’s amazing to me how passionate they are about God. One moment that really hit me, was when I saw a lady with a little black cross necklace. I told her I liked it and she gave me it. I started to tell her to keep it until she pulled out another just like it and told me “I must have it.” Later that day a little boy approached me, and told me his mom gave me the bracelet because I was nice to him the day before. He then started talking to me more and later said that I will have to come here and visit him because he doesn’t want to wait until he dies and we’re both in Heaven together to see me again. That really impacted me a lot. This entire trip has blessed me and stretched me more than I can even begin to explain.
