Though we were only in Jamaica for a short amount of time, God accomplished big things in the time that we had. We were able to serve through painting around the Salvation Army School for the Blind’s campus, singing with the elderly at the Francis Ham Home, and worshiping with the students at the school during VBS. Through these experiences we were humbled and reminded of the love that God has for each and every one of His children. We were also able to see the students really wrestle with the deep questions of their hearts and see their yearning for Christ. As we head home, our hope and our prayer is that God used the time that we had to reach out to many in this community and allow them to come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. We will continue to pray for the staff and students here at the Salvation Army School for the Blind asking that they will keep on serving the Lord with all of their hearts and in doing so, raise up disciples of Jesus Christ. We are grateful and hopeful for all that the Lord is doing in Jamaica.
